Cleetus McFarland wrecks out of Super Late Model debut in Battle at Berlin

Cleetus McFarland, known for his popular YouTuber presence, faced disappointment as he was unable to complete his Super Late Model debut at the Tekton 250 Battle at Berlin at Berling Raceway in Michigan. McFarland started from the 22nd position in the 27-car field. The race was eventful for the YouTuber, marked by an early spin as he attempted to avoid a mishap ahead, a fender rub, a tire rub, and a middle finger gesture from competitor Evan Szotko.

However, it was his unfortunate spin just under 20 laps from the finish line that marked the end of his race. The leader managed to pass McFarland, but the car that was directly behind him met a grim fate. McFarland and Keith Herp, running in 14th place, collided, causing severe damage to both vehicles and ending the night for the No. 33 car.

Post-race, McFarland was seen discussing his experience with FloRacing, admitting to his struggles, and expressing his regret over the incident. Despite his misfortune, McFarland maintained a positive outlook, stating that the event was fun and great. His teammate in the race, Tristian McKee, emerged victorious, with Bubba Pollard in second place and NASCAR Cup star Carson Hocevar in third.

Looking ahead, McFarland plans to continue participating in late model events at the Freedom Factory, his 3/8-mile oval track in Florida, with his next race scheduled at the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Talladega Superspeedway on October 23.
