Wong Chen apologises to Subang folk for resigning early as MP

Former Subang MP Wong Chen has expressed regret for resigning from his seat and the PKR party before the Parliament's dissolution. In a press conference, Wong Chen admitted to stepping down one year early, despite having no regrets about the 13 years he served as an MP, representing Subang and Kelana Jaya. He stated that his decision to resign was driven by his sense of duty to defend democracy and the Federal Constitution.

Wong Chen reaffirmed his clear record and conscience, adding that he could have waited until Parliament was dissolved. He resigned as Subang MP on Monday and left PKR to join Bersama, the party founded by former ministers Rafizi Ramli and Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.
