Trump confirms Secret Service wanted him off Air Force One, claims plane faced ‘greater risk’

According to Trump, the decision to move him was made by the Secret Service and military following a reported threat from Iran. Trump stated that he followed the Secret Service and military's instructions, adding that he believes the alternate plane he was moved onto was "at greater risk" of being targeted.

The President confirmed the potential threat, explaining that the alternative aircraft was likely more susceptible to attack. The operation, described as a "deception operation" by a US official, involved moving Trump off the presidential aircraft via a catering truck before he boarded a smaller US Air Force C-32A. The move was intended to protect the President and his aircraft from perceived danger.
