The Office actress Lucy Davis says she has ‘incurable’ cancer

Lucy Davis, the actress who portrayed Dawn Tinsley in the original UK version of The Office, has disclosed that she is battling incurable breast cancer. The 53-year-old, daughter of comedian Jasper Carrott, shared her diagnosis on Instagram, revealing that the cancer had metastasised to her bones, spine, hip, and ribs. Despite the diagnosis, Davis remains optimistic, focusing on living her remaining time in a joyful manner.

She stated that she's grateful for the lessons she's learned from her experience and expressed her peace with the situation. Davis emphasized the importance of early detection, noting that her initial lump was a small, hard spot that she initially overlooked. She aims to continue her work supporting animal rights and is determined to keep working, finding immense joy in acting.
