Rhea Chakraborty calls jail inmates ‘nice’, jokes her book will be called ‘Chudail ka Badla’

Rhea Chakraborty, who recently received a clean chit from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, disclosed that she found the inmates in Mumbai's Byculla Jail to be more pleasant than those outside. She humorously remarked that a book about her jail experience might be titled 'Chudail Ka Badla'.

During her stay, Rhea noted that undertrials, especially women, spent their time singing, dancing, and preparing a local condiment called thecha. She also mentioned that her time in jail involved indulging in luxuries like sushi, champagne, vada pao, and chaat. Post her acquittal, Rhea returned to her holiday with her parents and found it peculiar to not be questioned upon entering India.

She also mentioned that while she was surrounded by laughter and jokes before her release, people's demeanor instantly changed upon meeting her again.
