Parliament Monsoon Session Live: Amit Shah set to present two Bills before Rajya Sabha, FCRA Bill may go to JPC

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is preparing to present two Bills in the Rajya Sabha during the Parliament Monsoon Session. The first Bill pertains to the National Education Estimation Test (NEET) protests. In an address to reporters outside the Parliament, Shah alleged that the Opposition has prevented the functioning of the Parliament, citing terms like "laapata" and "bhaag gaye" as indicative of the situation.

He expressed readiness to discuss the NEET protests, stating that the government is prepared for a full discussion from 3 PM on the first day of the session and until the same time the following day. Shah emphasized that the government has nothing to hide and is prepared to answer any questions raised by the Opposition. He further stated that the NDA government, under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, is willing to discuss any matter, provided the Opposition allows Parliament to function.
