One man injured in targeted shooting outside home in Surrey, B.C., police say

Surrey police are investigating a targeted shooting that injured one man early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred near 60 Avenue and 177 Street in the Cloverdale neighborhood around 4 a.m. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found shots fired at two individuals, with the man sustaining minor injuries that did not necessitate medical treatment.

Police believe the attack was targeted but do not suspect it is linked to recent extortion violence against the South Asian community. Witnesses or anyone with information, including security camera or dashcam footage, are urged to contact the police.
