Major League Baseball (MLB) is returning to its iconic "Field of Dreams" location in Dyersville, Iowa, for a permanent ballpark experience. The city, with a population of 4,477, has invested in constructing a 3,000-seat stadium just in time for a series of showcase events this summer.

The game will see the Minnesota Twins host the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday, bringing together the mystique and nostalgia of the 1989 film and the big-city atmosphere. Phillies All-Star Kyle Schwarber expressed excitement about seeing the cornfield where the movie was filmed, while Keith Rahe, executive director of Dyersville Events, highlighted the community's dedication to maintaining the cornfield's lush appearance for the event.

The stadium, with its blend of simplicity and modern amenities, aims to provide big-city comforts to visitors while preserving the unique charm of the original Field of Dreams location. Over 25 Hall of Famers are expected to attend the game, and Kevin Costner's character Ray Kinsella is set to join the festivities, reminiscing about his father's baseball memories.
