I’ve been the only one taking care of my kids for 14 years; no man has helped me – Tima Kumkum

Tima Kumkum, a media personality known as Tima Yeboah, shared that she has been the sole caregiver for her three children for the past 14 years. This revelation was made during an interview on Joy Prime's Changes show, where she discussed the challenges she faced during her career and marriage. After divorcing her husband, Tima Kumkum struggled to provide for her second child while also building her career.

She mentioned that she has been responsible for paying their school fees, shelter, clothes, and everything else. Tima Kumkum stated that her ex-husband was abroad, and she acknowledges that he has not been involved with her children. Her first child has completed JHS and is transitioning to SHS, while her second child is currently in JHS 2 and will be moving on to SHS in two years.

All expenses related to her children have been solely her responsibility. Tima Kumkum emphasized her strength and perseverance, stating that she never gave up on herself or her children. She is currently planning to host an all-women conference titled "Be Inspired by Tima Women's Conference 2026," themed "Turning Pain into Purpose."

The conference aims to inspire and support young women facing similar challenges. The event will take place on 12 September 2026, at Villa Vista, East Legon, in preparation for Tima Kumkum's birthday celebration on 17 September 2026. Other speakers and participants include suicide prevention advocate Gloria Boatemaa Andoh, entrepreneur Maame Joe, burns survivor and global advocate Judith Cato Addison, as well as personalities such as Pastor Selina, Mrs Mary Amoah Kuffour, and Mrs Naa Joe Bechem.
