Haryana youth who served in French Army stabbed to death in Germany

A 25-year-old youth named Vishu Sharma from Kurukshetra was found stabbed to death in Frankfurt, Germany, leaving his family desperately seeking his body back home. The motive behind his murder and details about the three individuals allegedly involved remain unknown at this time. Vishu had moved to Portugal in November 2022, after his family invested approximately Rs 20 lakh in selling a plot of land to fund his international journey.

A year later, he relocated to France, where he completed six months of military training and served in the French Army for about a year.

Following his discharge from the French Army, Vishu moved to Germany and started working in the delivery sector. His father, Neeraj Sharma, stated that Vishu had assembled a team of delivery workers who reported to him. On Monday, Neeraj had spoken with his son and the conversation seemed normal. However, Vishu did not return home as expected on Tuesday and the family learned of his death on Wednesday morning.

They are now in the process of completing necessary formalities to repatriate Vishu's remains to India, while also awaiting further information regarding the circumstances of his death, its motive, and the identities and statuses of the three persons reportedly connected to the incident. The loss of her brother has left Vishu's sister devastated, as she had eagerly anticipated Raksha Bandhan and was promised a ring by Vishu.
