GTA launches online meeting booking service through "Dhareeba" Platform

The General Tax Authority (GTA) has introduced an online meeting booking service through the Dhareeba Platform. This initiative is part of the GTA's broader digital transformation efforts aimed at improving communication with taxpayers and streamlining access to tax-related services. According to GTA, the platform allows taxpayers to submit requests for meetings with the Authority to address their tax inquiries and concerns, providing a structured and direct line of communication with appropriate departments and specialists.

Taxpayers can choose a convenient appointment slot, specify the topic of the meeting, and upload relevant documents prior to the meeting. This enables the relevant departments to prepare adequately and offer precise guidance. To use the service, taxpayers must log into the Dhareeba Platform and authenticate through the National Authentication System (Tawtheeq), then submit their request electronically.

The request is then routed to the appropriate department or specialist, and taxpayers can monitor its progress. This move underscores GTA's dedication to utilizing digital tools to simplify processes and enhance the taxpayer experience by allowing appointments to be scheduled in advance.
