Fadahunsi: I’ve Been Misinterpreted, I Said If Anyone Kills Our People, We’ll Retaliate

Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Industries and representing Osun East Senatorial District, has clarified his recent statement following the circulation of a misleading video on social media. According to Fadahunsi, the video was intentionally edited to distort his actual message. He emphasized that his comment was in response to the ongoing violence and attacks against All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Ilesa and other regions of the state.

Fadahunsi specifically referred to the killing of Rogba in Esa-Oke, a case where his co-cultists were involved. He stressed that his statement was clear: if the killings do not stop, his party will retaliate. Fadahunsi also highlighted that the video was a deliberate attempt by individuals like Davido and Pelumi Olajengbesi to manipulate public opinion and achieve cheap political gains.

He lamented the deaths of several young members of the APC, with more than 12 reported casualties, and called for peace, urging voters to exercise their democratic rights without resorting to violence.
