EPL: Michael Owen names title winners, teams to finish top-six this season

Former Manchester United striker, Michael Owen, has predicted Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season, according to a report from Metro. The 2026/27 Premier League season will commence this month, and Owen believes Arsenal, who clinched the title last year, have a strong chance of defending their crown. Owen told the publication, "I think there can be a few title challengers this season."

He noted that Chelsea, now competing domestically, could pose a significant challenge. Additionally, Owen mentioned that new management at Liverpool and Manchester City might achieve early success, potentially securing a top-six finish. Tottenham, too, has strengthened their squad, contributing to their potential ascent in the standings.

When asked about the teams likely to occupy the top six positions, Owen responded, "At this stage, I would go Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd and then Spurs."
