Paris, August 12 — Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in the Portuguese resort town of Cascais, according to the football star's representatives. The 41-year-old athlete shared a photo of his new wife, along with the words "C (heart) G," on Instagram. The couple's five children were present for the "private and intimate" wedding, as confirmed by the Brunswick Group, the firm handling Ronaldo's public relations.

The wedding took place exactly one year after Rodriguez, a 32-year-old influencer, announced their engagement on Instagram. The couple first met in 2016 when Rodriguez was working at a Gucci store in Madrid; she described their instant connection as "love at first sight." In a 2025 interview with Vogue Arabia, Rodriguez spoke of feeling "a sense of peace and an inexplicable energy" when she was with Ronaldo, as if they had known each other forever.

Ronaldo, who played for Portugal in this summer's World Cup, where they were eliminated at the round of 16, currently plays for Saudi club Al-Nassr.
