Couple leave children at aunt’s home, die by suicide hours later

In a tragic incident in Telangana’s Nizamabad district, a young couple, Shesala Meghana, 30, and her husband Shesala Naresh, passed away by suicide, leaving behind their two children who had been left at their aunt’s house. The couple’s identity was established by NDTV, with Meghana being a homemaker and Naresh working as an electricity department lineman.

Upon their untimely deaths on Tuesday, the children were reportedly taken to their aunt’s residence by their parents. The police are investigating the possibility that financial troubles, health problems, and depression may have contributed to the couple’s tragic decision. A suicide note found at the scene alluded to these issues, revealing Meghana’s struggle with depression and Naresh’s health concerns, which he was receiving treatment for.

According to the police, Naresh had been receiving medical care for his depression and was reportedly in a fragile mental state. His maternal uncle, Mohan, provided investigators with detailed insights into Naresh’s health condition. The couple’s family members did not report any significant disputes between Meghana and Naresh and did not suspect foul play.

Post-mortem examinations were conducted on the bodies, and the police registered a case following a complaint. As they continue their investigation, they are carefully examining the suicide note and other evidence to piece together the circumstances surrounding the couple’s deaths.
