Congress sets up multi-tiered poll monitoring infrastructure as SIR exercise is on

After a massive audit of the Special Intensive Registration (SIR) exercise, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has set up a multi-tiered election monitoring infrastructure to protect its electoral prospects. The audit revealed severe data discrepancies, with 74 lakh voters lacking complete field mapping and proper digitisation.

A crucial meeting on SIR will be held on Thursday where senior Congress leaders will participate to analyze the first phase of the SIR exercise. The TPCC has also deployed 34,000 Booth Level Agents across every polling station in the State to track voter anomalies in real-time. Former BRS leader B. Vinod Kumar suggested that voter registration inflation is driven by socio-political factors rather than institutional manipulation.
