Conservative commentator Matt Walsh also criticized Ocasio-Cortez's age, stating that she should have children in her 20s. However, doctors told the Guardian that Ocasio-Cortez's age is not a concern, as egg freezing is most effective at age 35 or younger, and women are increasingly having children later in life. The majority of frozen eggs are never used, but some women still find peace of mind in the procedure, with a low rate of regret.
