Nolan went missing on July 4 after taking a boat trip to Horn Island with friends. His body was found by a park ranger on Monday, July 6. Crump shared the photos on social media, describing Nolan as a quiet, joke-loving young man with a gentle smile.

The photos captured the essence of Nolan's life, highlighting his love for sports and his gentle spirit. Crump emphasized that while the story of Nolan's life is significant, his death is a tragic loss. The Mississippi State Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on July 7, but the results have not been released to the public yet.

Crump stated that the family has not seen the autopsy or toxicology results. The independent autopsy commissioned by the family was inconclusive, concluding that the cause and manner of death were "undetermined" pending further investigation.
