After the fire in Gironde, the massive influx of wood is destabilizing the forestry sector in the Landes de Gascogne.
Around 4 million tons of maritime pine are expected to hit the market, or almost two thirds of the annual production of the forest. Enough to shake up a sector already affected by weak economic growth and storm Nils.
