Another Citizen Facilitation Centre Becomes Operational in Islamabad

The Citizen Facilitation Centre (CFC) Tarlai in Islamabad has become fully operational, providing eight government services to citizens under one roof. This facility, aimed at bringing multiple public services closer to local residents, offers a range of essential documents and permits. These services include the issuance of domicile, birth and death certificates, along with marriage certificates and divorce registrations.

Additionally, citizens can obtain a Fard, International Driving Permit, and have their documents attested at CFC Tarlai.

The centre's pilot phase concluded successfully, receiving positive feedback from the community. From July 29 to August 11, the centre handled a substantial number of requests. Specifically, 106 domicile cases were processed, 95 birth certificates and 47 marriage certificates were issued, and 47 marriage certificate cases and 31 Fard cases were also attended to. Furthermore, 15 death certificates were issued during this period.

To ensure efficient service delivery, real-time monitoring of all facilities and services at the centre's modern building is underway. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Irfan Memon, highlighted that CFC Tarlai is offering critical government services to citizens in a convenient, centralized location. This full operationalisation of the centre is expected to offer greater convenience to residents in accessing various government services.
