Al-Baha education department concludes 2026 summer programs

Al-Baha’s education department has concluded its summer programs for 2026, encompassing a wide array of educational, cultural, sports, and entertainment activities. These programs, held in collaboration with various partners, concluded on Wednesday, showcasing a diverse range of initiatives. A notable program was the cooperation with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), which engaged 58 students in enhancing their scientific and academic skills, as well as innovation and technology abilities.

Other significant events included the Kinza Al-Qimam football championship, organized with the Saudi School Sports Federation, and the Kinza for Intelligence and Challenge track, specifically designed for individuals with disabilities to promote intellectual engagement and skill development. The program also featured the Fly and Go initiative, which trained participants in cycling and introduced them to paragliding, along with the My Beautiful Environment initiative, aimed at fostering environmental awareness and vegetation growth.

Additionally, the Junior Tour Guide initiative introduced students to key landmarks in Al-Baha, providing them with information cards to share with visitors, thus enriching their understanding and appreciation of the city’s heritage. The summer programs were designed to maximize students' vacation time, foster skill development, and encourage participation in a variety of activities within a secure and engaging educational setting.

The closing ceremony on Wednesday reviewed the programs' achievements, showcased a video documenting the activities, and honored the supporting organizations and supervisors for their contributions in executing the programs and reaching their objectives.
