Mumbai: Former India Captain Ajinkya Rahane is poised to embark on his Test commentary journey on Sony Sports Network during India's forthcoming tour of Sri Lanka, scheduled to commence on August 15, 2026. After a remarkable career spanning nearly 18 years since his first-class debut, Rahane will now don the commentator's mantle for India's two-match Test series, which will be broadcast on Sony Sports Network and streamed on Sony LIV.

A stalwart of 85 Tests for India, Rahane has scored 5,077 runs, including 12 centuries and 26 half-centuries.
