2026 FedEx St. Jude Championship Thursday tee times: Round 1 groupings

Tom Kim experienced a remarkable turnaround in his third round performance at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, birding six consecutive holes from No. 2 to No. 7. The South Korean golfer expressed that he was in a zone, driving well and making necessary putts. Kim aimed to tie the course record, set by Scottie Scheffler the previous day.

Although he managed to maintain his momentum, Kim gradually slowed down on the back nine, resulting in birdies only on holes No. 10 and No. 15. Kim's strongest rounds came from his ability to stay in the present, adapt to the demanding conditions, and maintain focus. Despite a few bogeys on the final two holes, Kim concluded the day with a score of 7-under par, propelling him closer to the top-15 in the tournament.

Kim has participated in four of the last five FedEx St. Jude Championships, and he was excited to return to Memphis, where he has played consistently well. Scheffler, currently leading the tournament with a two-stroke advantage, was praised by Kim for his dominant and consistent performance throughout the three rounds.
