Of the total 10GB, 5GB will be given on Malaysia Day, 31 August, and the remaining 5GB on Malaysia Day 16 September. The methods and time periods for rebates will be detailed by the telecom companies concerned, subject to terms and conditions. The ministry also values the Communications Control and Supervision Department's discussions with telecom companies to make the initiative a reality.
At the same time, Fahmi revealed that the total value of Raya Rahmah 2026 stands at RM48.63 million so far, up more than 118% compared to RM22.3 million last year. Of this amount, RM2.7 million is cash contributions, while RM45.93 million is in the form of goods and services.
