Trump took secret flight out of Turkiye amid Iran threat: Report

In recent days, it has been reported that former US President Donald Trump secretly departed from Turkey following the NATO summit due to an Iranian threat, according to US media outlets. An image captured Trump boarding the presidential Boeing 747 in Ankara, but he was subsequently relocated covertly into an airport catering vehicle.

This vehicle then transported him to an Air Force C-32A aircraft, as reported by the Washington Post on Monday, based on information from a US official and reviewed documents. The smaller aircraft subsequently flew Trump to the United Kingdom, while White House personnel and journalists remained on the larger plane, unaware that their leader was no longer present.

The New York Times independently confirmed the deception, quoting another US official. The operation was executed to maintain the appearance that Trump had traveled on the presidential aircraft throughout the journey, according to the Washington Post. The White House has not explicitly commented on the report. A White House spokesperson stated that there are "many enemies of America" aiming to undermine Trump, and that every available means were being employed to counter threats.

President Trump had previously claimed during the summit that Iran had him at number one on its assassination list.
