Third macOS Golden Gate Public Beta Now Available

Apple has unveiled the third public beta of its macOS Golden Gate operating system, making it available for non-developers to preview before the fall release. Interested users can register on Apple's beta website and subsequently download the software through their System Settings > General > Software Update, selecting the macOS 27 beta toggle.

The Golden Gate update mirrors the AI-driven Siri features found in iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, but enables its use through the Spotlight interface with a Command + Space keyboard shortcut. Apple has refined the Liquid Glass design, introducing a slider to control system transparency, and enhanced UI elements for improved readability and depth.

Performance enhancements across macOS Golden Gate aim to deliver a smoother experience, even on older Mac models.
