#SHOWBIZ: 'Last Minute Date' promises a hilarious CNY 2027 adventure for families

Kuala Lumpur: The Year of the Goat approaches with the arrival of a new comedy, Last Minute Date, in 2027. Dissy Definition Film and Dissy have teamed up to bring this film to life, featuring a talented ensemble cast led by veteran comedian Mark Lee. Alongside Dahee, Song Bill, Adeline Wong, Yuriko, Yuniyce, Kim Chen Wu, Zuvia, Judy, Anthony, Jack Yap, and June, Morn Liew steps into the director's chair for his first feature film.

Liew's previous work with Dissy, Close Ur Kopitiam and I'm Not Gangster, was helmed by Vince Chong. Embracing the director's debut, Liew emphasizes a learning mindset and close collaboration with the cast to create an authentic and enjoyable experience. The film's creative team, known for their strong comedic understanding, is expected to deliver a fresh take on the Chinese New Year genre.
