Rapid KL confirms sexual harassment allegation on Sri Rampai-Setiawangsa train

Rapid KL has confirmed receiving information about an alleged sexual harassment incident on the Kelana Jaya Line, according to Kosmo! Online. The incident reportedly occurred when the train was traveling from Sri Rampai station to Setiawangsa station, with the alleged event taking place around 8:30am near the Setiawangsa LRT station.

Rapid KL's auxiliary police team assisted both individuals involved in the alleged incident, subsequently escorting them to the Setiawangsa police station to lodge a report. "Rapid KL Auxiliary Police provided assistance and escorted both individuals to the Setiawangsa Police Station to lodge a police report," the company stated.

The alleged sexual harassment incident gained widespread attention on social media after a commotion broke out on the train. Witnesses claimed to have seen a woman screaming, followed by several passengers restraining a man. According to those who were at the scene, the woman had accused the man of touching her while traveling from Sri Rampai towards Setiawangsa. Rapid KL has handed the case over to the police for further investigation.
