Pune: Mulshi Institute Of Retail Management Launches MBA In Healthcare Administration

The Mulshi Institute of Retail Management (MIRM) has introduced an MBA in Healthcare Administration program, set to commence in the 2026-27 academic year. This two-year course has received approval from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) in Nashik and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in New Delhi. Dr Saroja Asthana, founder director of MIRM, announced the initiative during a press conference, alongside Executive Director Dr Vilas Pharande and Professor Sunil Chavan.

The curriculum for the MBA in Healthcare Administration program is designed to provide students with practical skills and knowledge in various aspects of hospital and pharmaceutical operations, medical technology, healthcare analytics, and policy. The program will also offer internship opportunities with corporate hospitals, industries, NGOs, and healthcare service providers, along with comprehensive placement support.

Pharande revealed that the program is open to graduates from different medical disciplines. The institute has kept tuition fees minimal, and government scholarships and concessions will be available to eligible candidates. The deadline for admission is August 31, 2025.

MIRM has a strong track record of maintaining a 100% placement rate and aims to deliver an updated curriculum, experienced faculty, industry guidance, internships, and career counseling to its students. Professor Sunil Chavan highlighted that the institute has been serving the education sector for 16 years and is committed to strengthening healthcare management education through industry-oriented learning.
