The court heard that Gyamfi was introduced to the teacher, Abigail Darkwah, in January 2025 by a mutual acquaintance, Collin Sackey.
Gyamfi allegedly claimed he could secure Darkwah a teaching job in Malaysia and demanded $4,300, equivalent to GH¢73,100, for visa processing and airfare.
