Osun state money will stay in Osun – Adeleke

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has reassured voters that his administration's funds will remain within the state, during the Arise Townhall Meeting. The governor, who was cheated in the 2018 election, returned to power in 2022 and has been focused on delivering development. He highlighted road construction projects, which had been neglected for years before his intervention, and emphasized the use of professional Nigerian engineers for the projects.

Adeleke dismissed claims of substandard roads, stating that his administration had achieved significant progress. He also defended his dancing at public events, attributing it to family traditions. Accusing the All Progressives Congress (APC) of using propaganda, Adeleke confidently defended his re-election bid, promising more "goodies" for the people of Osun.

Security-wise, he revealed that his criminology background aids in tackling security challenges, and his administration has recruited 1,500 Amotekun personnel to ensure a peaceful election.
