Osun state money will stay in Osun – Adeleke

Osun State Governor Adeleke has urged voters to support his re-election bid, stating that his administration has delivered significant development across the state. Speaking at the Arise Townhall Meeting, Adeleke, who became governor again in 2022 after alleging he was cheated in the 2018 election, promised that government funds would remain in Osun and that more "goodies are on the way".

The governor highlighted road construction projects, asserting that his administration used professional Nigerian engineers and that the roads were far from substandard. He also dismissed allegations of APC propaganda against his administration, while defending his public dancing, which he attributed to a family tradition. Adeleke defended his security credentials, claiming his criminology background allows him to tackle security challenges, and revealed he had recruited about 1,500 Amotekun personnel.

He admitted to recent security concerns from some individuals and pledged to collaborate with authorities and security experts to ensure a peaceful election.
