Olivia Dean Moves Auckland Show to Newly Revamped Western Springs Bowl

British singer Olivia Dean has rescheduled her October 17th concert in Auckland, moving it from Spark Arena to the newly renovated Western Springs Bowl. This decision comes after organizers reported a "phenomenal demand" for tickets to the original location. The Western Springs Bowl underwent a four-month, NZ$2.5 million transformation to become a major outdoor venue for concerts and festivals.

The venue will accommodate between 15,000 and 30,000 people for large events, or up to 5,000 spectators for smaller sporting events. Ttaki Auckland Unlimited's CEO, Nick Hill, emphasized the venue's role in providing more frequent high-profile outdoor events for Auckland residents. Ticket holders for the original concert do not need to purchase new tickets and will have them reissued by September 30.

Additional tickets will be available for purchase on August 20. Dean will be supported by Australian singer Kaiit during her 2026 tour in Australia and New Zealand, which also includes sold-out shows in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Dean has enjoyed significant success in New Zealand, spending 21 weeks simultaneously at No. 1 on both the singles and albums charts, a record in the country's chart history.

Her hit single "Man I Need" has been certified six-times platinum, and her album "The Art of Loving" has reached four-times platinum.
