MEPRA Qatar Leadership Majlis to explore the new architecture

Doha, Qatar - The Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) announced its 2026 Qatar Leadership Majlis, set to take place on September 10 at W Doha. This year's edition, under the theme "The New Architecture of Influence," aims to explore how recent developments such as regional conflict, geopolitical shifts, economic uncertainty, advancements in artificial intelligence, and evolving media habits are reshaping the communications landscape in the Middle East.

Scheduled to convene senior leaders from across government, business, media, and communications, the event will feature a combination of discussions and panel conversations. Attendees will engage in candid dialogue to surface effective strategies, identify gaps, and examine emerging trends in influence and trust-building.

Reflecting on the success of the previous year's event, MEPRA Chair Justin Kerr-Stevens emphasized the shift in the role of communications. No longer confined to message control, communicators are now tasked with helping organizations make informed decisions, foster trust preemptively, and navigate uncertainties with confidence.

The 2026 Leadership Majlis will delve into practical applications, including the use of AI tools for event planning, execution, and reporting, as well as the differing strategies for B2B, B2C, and B2G communications.
