Man, 49, found dead in Banting plantation

A 49-year-old man was discovered dead in an oil palm plantation in Banting, Kuala Langat on Sunday, according to police. Eight individuals have been arrested in connection with the suspected murder, Superintendent Akmalrizal Mohd Radzi of the Kuala Langat district police announced. The incident was reported to the Public Order and National Security Department (KDNKA) by plantation staff around 5pm.

The investigation is being conducted under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which permits the death penalty or a prison term ranging from 30 to 40 years, along with a minimum of 12 cane strokes upon conviction. The police are seeking public assistance in resolving the case and have urged the public to come forward with any information related to the incident.
