Key accused in Gujarat gangster murder arrested from Surat jail

Surat police have apprehended gangster Rahul Mandal for the murder of rival gangster Satish Maratha, according to a report. Mandal, who is accused of orchestrating the killing on August 5, was produced in the Surat district court and placed in police custody until August 15. Maratha, a notorious gangster, was killed by a group of around 10 individuals in the Bhestan area.

Upon arrest, police discovered that Mandal had ordered the murder. Six accused, including Ketan Sirsath, Rahul Dubey, Karan Dubey, Ajit Goswami, Akash Thakur, and Rahul Kapure, were arrested while traveling to Maharashtra on bikes. During questioning, Sirsath and Dubey admitted to their involvement, revealing that Mandal was the mastermind behind the murder.
