Kerjasama DAP-PAS tak mungkin ketika ini, kata Ramkarpal

Kerjasama antara Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PAS) dan Parti Keberanian Islam (DAP) tidak mungkin berlaku sekarang, menurut Rahkarpal Singh, kedua-dua parti terdepan dalam Pakatan Harapan (PH). DAP's deputy president made this declaration in response to PAS president Hadi Awang's allegations that PH is anti-Islam. Singh dismissed the claim as unfounded, calling it an example of why the two parties find it difficult to work together now.

The statement followed up on the remarks made by PKR vice president Amirudin Shari, who said PH is open to cooperating with any party, including Bersatu or PN, which make up PN. Both PAS and Bersatu are now facing crises that have resulted in the breakdown of their relationships. Amirudin Shari needs to clarify his statement, stating that PH is open to cooperating with any party, especially as it relates to the issue being raised and resolved in the PH leadership council.

This matter is serious as it involves PH's agenda and potential partner parties in the future, according to Singh's statement. He also emphasized that the issue needs to be thoroughly discussed by the component parties before any announcement is made. Singh denied having any such stance and can confirm that such a stance has not been raised at any level within DAP.

Yesterday, Selangor Deputy Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari was quoted saying PH is open to cooperating with any party, including PN or Bersatu, as long as the cooperation is based on political stability and public welfare. Saturday, Hadi through his 'Minda' or Presidential statement, accused DAP-led PH of continuing the colonialist agenda of wiping out Malay Islam.

He claimed DAP's dominance of PH has exposed their extremist secularism and their pursuit of 'Malaysian Malaysia'.
