Idac investigated Masemola without a complaint referral
The Madlanga commission has heard that the Independent Directorate Against Corruption (Idac) investigated national police commissioner Fannie Masemola in the Medicare24 matter without the required Section 27 complaint referral. Former Idac head Andrea Johnson is accused of authorising the investigation into Masemola, who was charged with flouting the public finance management act.
