I paid over N80bn inherited pension debt, delivered beyond expectations — Adeleke

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State announced that his administration has paid over N80 billion in inherited pension debt and more than two-thirds of the half-salary arrears, exceeding expectations and delivering on promises. Speaking at a town hall meeting organized by Arise TV, Adeleke emphasized his commitment to workers' welfare, which he considers the highest priority.

The governor highlighted the progress made in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and cooperative funds during his tenure, boasting that his administration's achievements surpassed the previous administration's capacity to address financial obligations. Adeleke called for a free and fair election, expressing concerns over potential police interference, and urged the people of Osun to maintain peace during the electoral process.
