In the video, Fadahunsi, speaking in Yoruba, accused the Accord Party of attacking All Progressives Congress members and urged supporters to attack Accord Party members in Ilesa. He also challenged those present to record and share his speech on social media during the upcoming August 15, 2026, governorship election.

In a statement released by his media office, Fadahunsi clarified that his comment was not a call for violence, but rather a political warning to voters to reject the Accord Party through peaceful and democratic means. The statement emphasized that his remarks were metaphorical and did not advocate for any form of physical attack against any member of the public or political party.

Fadahunsi reiterated his commitment to democratic values and urged all political actors, party supporters, and voters to maintain law and order during the election. He also called upon security agencies to uphold their professional duties and ensure a fair and secure voting process.
