Coventry eye Mudryk on loan - Wednesday's gossip

Coventry City is in pursuit of Chelsea winger Mykhaylo Mudryk on loan, according to recent reports. Barcelona is still negotiating with Manchester City for Spain midfielder Rodri, while Manchester United are focusing on Newcastle left-back Lewis Hall. Chelsea and Manchester United have been approached by Arsenal about signing England midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly, who could be available after the arrival of Brazil international Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle.

Manchester United are also considering a loan move for Real Madrid striker Endrick, valued at £30m. Manager Jose Mourinho, however, wants to retain the 20-year-old at the Spanish club. City's midfielder Kalvin Phillips is close to a return to Sheffield United on loan, following his end-of-last-season stint there. Everton is pushing for a right-back signing within the next week or so, with Celtic's Alistair Johnston, West Ham's Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Palace's 22-year-old Englishman Brooke Norton-Cuffy among potential targets. Crystal Palace's English centre-back Mofe Jemide is nearing a move to Alverca in Portugal's top division.
