BJP to stage protest if T.N. government continued to oppose Navodaya Vidyalaya schools

The BJP's State president, Nainar Nagenthran, expressed disappointment over the Tamil Nadu government's opposition to establish Navodaya Vidyalaya schools in the State. He announced that his party would mobilize students and organize a protest if the government persisted with its stance. Nagenthran cited a media report stating that the Tamil Nadu government had submitted an affidavit to the Supreme Court opposing the establishment of Navodaya Vidyalaya schools in the State.

These schools provide nutritious meals, uniforms, and books free of cost to students, and the BJP accused the T.N. government of adopting an anti-student approach similar to that of the previous DMK government.
