'At no cost' will Mann complete tenure: Warring predicts AAP govt collapse in Punjab

Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Warring criticized Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, predicting that the ongoing Vidhan Sabha session may be his final. This sharp remark was made months before Punjab's assembly elections, scheduled for early 2027. Warring alleged that growing discontent among Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) lawmakers could lead to the party losing its majority.

He stated that even if elections are held as planned, Mann would not remain chief minister until then. The AAP is expected to implode soon due to the loss of its majority. Warring claimed that most AAP MLAs were alienated and disillusioned with their own government, having felt suffocated for four and a half years. He accused Mann of being the worst chief minister Punjab had ever had, for which they would never forgive him.

Additionally, Warring criticized Mann for continuing to rely on his image as a comedian after becoming chief minister, stating that his role had changed and that he was no longer required to make people laugh. He warned that history would never forgive Mann for surrendering authority to outsiders while guarding his chief ministerial position.
