‘As I’m dancing, I’m working’ – Gov Adeleke replies critics

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has addressed concerns about his frequent dancing at public events, asserting that his passion for dancing does not impact his duties as governor. In a post on his official social media, Adeleke explained that dancing is a part of his family's lifestyle and it does not affect his responsibilities. "I dance because in my family, we are jolly good fellows," he said.

Adeleke emphasized that there is "time for everything", including both dancing and work. He reiterated that his dancing does not prevent him from performing his responsibilities, stating, "As I am dancing, I am working." The governor dismissed claims that his dancing hampers his performance as governor, pointing out that he has delivered projects and programs across various sectors. "Dancing does not stop me from working. I have delivered across all sectors," he affirmed.
