Apple extends 2026 Back to School deals on Macs and iPads until September 24

Eligible students, parents and educators in the United States can now extend their claim period for Apple's 2026 Back to School deals on select Macs and iPads until September 24. Initially scheduled to run from July 16 to August 27, Apple has updated the promotion period to give users an extra week and a half to take advantage of the offers.

In addition to the standard education discount, which provides reduced pricing on eligible Macs and iPads, students are now eligible for an Apple Gift Card worth up to $150 when purchasing a qualifying device. Apple's official table outlines the gift card amounts for each eligible Mac and iPad purchase.

Eligible purchasers include K–12 employees, school board members, PTA/PTO executives, higher education faculty and staff, students attending or accepted into higher education institutions, and parents purchasing on behalf of their child. The promotion applies to purchases made directly from the Apple Store for Education, not through institutional purchases or resales.

For those who missed the initial promotion or are outside the extended deadline, Apple's official Amazon store and Certified Refurbished Store offer additional discounts on Macs and iPads.
