25 Benin Groups Endorse Paddy Iyamu, Say Misconceptions Over Origin Settled

A coalition of 25 prominent Benin groups, including the Otedo Youth Movement Worldwide and Aiguobasinmwin Movement Worldwide, have unanimously endorsed Dr. Paddy Iyamu for the upcoming 2027 House of Representatives election in Oredo Federal Constituency. The groups addressed earlier concerns about Iyamu's origin, stating that they had been resolved and that his Benin roots were undisputed.

At the endorsement ceremony held at Imaguero College in Benin City, the chairman of Aiguobasinmwin Movement Worldwide, Mr. Osaro Culture Iyamu, emphasized the group's satisfaction with the clarification of misconceptions surrounding Iyamu. Comrade Kari Edosa, chairman of Otedo Youth Movement Worldwide, also confirmed the group's decision to support Iyamu, noting his lineage and his qualifications as Commissioner for Education.

Iyamu, in response, expressed his genuine intent to serve the people and highlighted his foundation's work in providing medical services and youth empowerment initiatives across Edo State. He pledged to continue these efforts if elected, promising to resume free surgeries and maintain the annual food bank for the elderly.
