West Ham sign winger Solomon from Tottenham

West Ham has officially brought winger Manor Solomon on board from Tottenham on a three-year deal. While the exact transfer fee remains undisclosed, sources indicate the Hammers invested around £5 million to secure the Israel international as their third permanent addition of the summer. The 27-year-old, currently serving his loan spell at Fiorentina in Italy, previously had stints on loan at Leeds United and Spanish club Villarreal after signing for Tottenham in 2023.

Solomon expressed his gratitude for joining West Ham, stating, "I know West Ham have a rich history both in the Premier League and in Europe, and I am excited to be part of a club that won a European trophy just three years ago." The forward, who will wear the number 10 jersey, emphasized the club's primary objective of securing promotion back to the top flight.

Having represented Israel 49 times, Solomon boasts a notable career with Shakhtar Donetsk, where he secured three titles during his tenure. Before his move to Fulham, he spent a loan period at the Ukrainian giants, and also contributed to Leeds' Championship triumph in the 2024-25 season. Solomon's arrival follows the signings of Venezuela midfielder Keiber Lamadrid and former Netherlands defender Joel Veltman, both of whom joined West Ham in the summer.

The club, which previously sold Crysencio Summerville to Al-Hilal and Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham, completed this high-profile signing following their relegation from the Premier League.
