On December 12th, newly elected legislator Han Ryung-baek began his two-day, three-day military training at the Jinju Military Training School in North Jeolla Province. He expressed concern about possible criticism from the military establishment regarding his decision to enter the training program. CBS Radio's 'Park Jae-hong of a Single Game' interviewed Han on the 10th, where he admitted, "At first, the military headquarters was very cooperative, but I'm not sure if it's appropriate to say this now.

This might be making me anxious." He added, "I've been strongly criticizing the involvement of the Defense Minister recently, so the military might take a stern stance against me." Han specifically mentioned that he was enrolling in the military training to update his knowledge as he had experience working as a military legal officer 10 years ago.

He explained, "I guess it's like updating my experience." Han noted that while he held military rank in the past, he sometimes appeared younger than his actual age due to his outdated experience, causing people to mistake him for being less experienced. He also revealed that his military training was taking place 14 years after he obtained his law degree.

Han concluded by expressing his desire to update his experience rather than relying solely on his existing knowledge.
