Sarfaraz Khan dons India’s training kit, celebrates comeback with his father

Sarfaraz Khan, the Indian cricketer, has rejoined the national team for their upcoming two-Test series in Sri Lanka. He was included in the squad as a replacement for Sai Sudharsan, who is recovering from a right toe stress reaction. Sarfaraz, who last played for India in November 2024, has a first-class average of 64.73 in 62 matches but has only played six Tests for India.

The 28-year-old shared a photo of himself wearing the Indian team's training kit, posing alongside his father, Naushad Khan, a former club cricketer and coach. The Bengaluru-based cricketer had been frozen out of the team for over a year but was recently called up for the Sri Lanka series.
