Punjab University First Merit List 2026 Released

The University of the Punjab in Lahore has unveiled the initial merit list for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2026-27. This first list pertaining to BS 1st and BS 5th Semester regular programs was set to be unveiled on August 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM, according to the university's official admission portal. Applicants who have secured a spot in this list are granted until August 12, 2026, during standard banking hours to settle their admission fees.

Checking the merit list is straightforward; students can access it via the university's official online admission portal. Upon reaching the merit list segment of the portal, candidates can opt for BS 1st Semester or BS 5th Semester, subsequently choosing their specific program. Each program's page will exhibit the available merit lists, including open-merit options and other relevant categories.

The university has confirmed that individual program merit lists for the 2026-27 academic year will be posted on their official website. Should students not find their names on the first list, they can expect subsequent merit lists to be released subsequently. For regular undergraduate programs, the revised schedule is as follows:

- First Merit List: August 10, 2026, with a deadline of August 12, 2026, for payment of fees.

- Second Merit List: August 13, 2026, with a payment deadline of August 17, 2026.

- Third Merit List: August 19, 2026, with a deadline of August 21, 2026.

- Fourth Merit List: August 24, 2026, with a payment deadline of August 26, 2026.

- Fifth & Final Merit List (if necessary): August 28, 2026, with a final deadline of August 31, 2026.

For Self-Supporting, Afternoon, Evening, and Replica programs, the merit-list schedule diverges from that of regular programs. The first merit list for these programs will be published on August 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with the deadline for fee payment being August 17, 2026. Following this, the second list will be released on August 19, third on August 24, and fourth on August 28, with the final deadline for fees set for August 31, 2026.
